HTC Desire 616 lauched in India on 11 July 2014 at a price tag of Rs. 16,900. With this smartphone HTC aims at capturing the market of this price segment.
HTC Desire 616 comes with a 1.7 GHz Cortex A7 Octa Core processor with Mali-450MP4 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It has 4 GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card. It has a 5 inch HD capacitive touchscreen which provide 294 ppi pixel density.It runs on Android OS 4.2.2 and has HTC Sense 5.5 UI.
HTC Desire 616 has a 8MP autofocus camera with led flash which is capable of recording FHD videos (1080p @30 fps). It has a 2 MP front camera which can record 720p (HD) videos.
For connectivity it has 2G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi hotspot and microUSB 2.0. It has only 2 sensors accelerometer and proximity. It comes with a 2000 mAH battery.
