Xiaomi in India!! Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has officially entered Indian market with the launch of Xiaomi MI3. The phone was launched on 8th July 2014. The phone will be available from July 15 exclusively via Flipkart. At a price tag of Rs.14999, the phone packs great features.
The phone has a powerful 2.3 GHz Qualcomm MSM8274AB Snapdragon 800 Quad Core Krait 400 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM. The phone has 16/64 GB internal storage which is non expandable.
Xiaomi MI3 has a 5 inch Full HD 1080p touchscreen with IPS retina display. It offers a 441 ppi pixel density. It has 13 MP rear camera with Sony BSI 2 sensor and dual led flash. The camera features are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, HDR. It has a 2 MP front camera for video calling and beautiful selfies. Both camera support full HD 1080p video recording.
The phone has dual sim Mini sim card slots and supports both 2G and 3G. For connectivity, phone has bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, wifi direct, wifi display and USB OTG. The phone supports GPS with A-GPS GLONASS support.
The phone runs on Android 4.3 with MI UI 5.0. The phone is expected to get android 4.4 update soon. The phone has amazing sensors which include Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer sensores. The phone has a powerful Non-removable Li-Ion 3050 mAh battery.
